After a lot of research, looking into different countries for my surgery i felt India was one of the most likeliest of countries I would consider, and after doing my research of the hospital I was more than comfortably with this.

Of course my next stage was to meet up with both you and Zahid for a consultation. After this visit with you explaining the surgery procedure to me and Zahid explaining the package cost, I must say I was very comfortably and impressed with what I heard.

And 'yes' I ended up booking my surgery with you, and was more than pleased with my decision. If I'm to be honest though, there was times when I started to get alittle apprehensive, but I can honestly say there was always somebody at the end of the phone to talk to and answered every question I needed answering.

Finally the day had arrived, and sure enough we (me and my partner Russ) was met at the airport and taken to the hospital, once arriving at the hospital I just knew i was in good hands. Everybody was so nice and really could not have done anymore for us both before and after the surgery.

My name is William I am 75 yrs of age a retired P.I.O who chose to retire to Goa in 2002 having left India at age of 18 to start a life in UK. Dr. Rajkumar is a very well known laparoscopic & bariatric(obesity) surgeon from India with the distinction of performing almost all types of laparoscopic surgeries described in world literature. He graduated in 1996 from south India and completed his post-graduation in surgery by the year 2000. Post-doctorship, he worked for two years under one of the leading surgical gastroenterologist from south India. He has conducted various wet lab sessions for Ophthalmologists in Maharashtra and spread training and awareness in the areas of LASIK surgery.

He has been in practice for the last 8 years. He has done his MBBS & MS (Ophthalmic) from Govt. Medical College, Aurangabad India – 1997.

He has done his Contact Lenses training from the internationally recognized L.V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India – 1995. He has also done a Short term fellowship from Arvind Netralaya, Madhurai, India – 1996.

He has been a consultant of drug Fiasle for Sun Pharma. He has conducted a mobile ICLEP with Bausch & Lomb for 2 years as a teacher. He has also worked with Bausch & Lomb as a ‘Medical in-service.’ He is also the consultant Ophthalmologist for Maharashtra Police.
