My Eye, a day care eye center established in 1997, as a first step towards comprehensive eye care under one roof. It was a humble beginning.  It pioneered the concept of day care eye surgery. For the last 10 years, we have been working hard to upgrade our facilities in terms of equipment, technology, skills and training. Today we are happy and proud that MY EYE is being transformed into a comprehensive laser eye center, providing world class eye laser facilities to our people. We have been able to keep pace with rapid progress and hope to stay ahead in crossing new frontiers in the field of eye care. Laser Vision Correction (LVC): Carl Zeiss, MEl 80 Excimer Laser Complete with Wasca workstation, paradigm, pachymeter, Humphrey Atlas 995 topographer, Germany for Wavefront guided customized LASIK surgery.

Laser For Retina: Carl Zeiss 532 visuals, Germany for Diabetes and allied conditions.

YAG Laser: For post capsulotomy (post cataract surgery) Iridectomy for acute glaucoma.


Laser For Cataract: Commonly but incorrectly called a “LASER” but actually an  ultrasound, we use Sovereign Whitestar classic phaco machine ICE software, the latest  from AMD, USA for cold phaco in all cataract cases.

Laser DCR: For blocked Nasolocrimal ducts, for imminent inclusion in future


Lasik: Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis is the commonest procedure done worldwide for correction of refractive error (Laser Vision Correction) for people who want freedom from spectacles and contact lens. Visual results depend to a great extent on the quality and technology of the Excimer laser machine used. Machines with older and refurnished laser head tend to give much inferior results, Hence, after careful evaluation we choose the new Mel 80 Excimer Laser with the latest technology from Carl-Zeiss Germany, a name trusted for quality and precision for the last 150 years. Mel 80 system is complete with Humphrey Atlas 995 topographer, Paradigm Pachymeter and Wasca Analyzer for Wavefront guided customized treatment.

So far as professional expertise is concerned, we doctors since our post graduation in mid 1980’s have been continuously upgrading our knowledge and skill with regular CMEs and training with special training in India (Baroda) and abroad (Germany, USA), we hope to offer our best in the field of LASER VISION CORRECTION.

  

 

Do's and Don'ts

 
 

Before Treatment:

  • Do start antibiotic drops1-2 days (as advised) before treatment. Instill the drops every 4 hours or as advised.
  • Don’t wear contact lenses (colored or regular) at all for seven days. Before the treatment you may spectacles or sunglasses, if you desire.

On the Day of the Treatment:

  • Do have a light meal.
  • Do keep putting antibiotic drops.
  • Do get sunglasses along while coming for the treatment. You will need these after treatment.
  • Do get someone to accompany you on the day of the treatment.
  • Don’t use any Perfume, Body Lotion/Spray, After Shave Lotion and Scented Hair Oil’s etc. on the day of treatment.
  • Don’t apply any make-up in or around the eyes – like Eye Shadow, Mascara, Kajal etc. after Laser treatment.

After Laser Treatment:

  • Do have a normal diet.
  • Do take rest on the day of treatment. You may resume your normal work/duties, the day after surgery after you have seen the doctor.
  • Do wear sunglasses when you are outdoors.
  • Do use your eye-drops and medications as per instructions.
  • Do come for follow-up visits as instructed.
  • Do watch T.V. and read normally after the first day. Even on the day of treatment, you may watch T.V. for a limited period.
  • Don’t splash water into your eyes for a couple of months. However, you may clean the eye gently after 2-3 days.
  • Don’t rub your eyes for a couple of months after treatment.
  • Don’t swim for 2-3 months after treatment.
  • Do Relax.
  • Free follow – up for the three months only.
